2D Animators
Job Specifications:

Must have sound knowledge of animation principles

Must be able to rig and animate characters in After Effects

Develop creative direction regarding visual effects in terms of techniques and style.

Willing to learn new tools and techniques

Should be able to handle multiple projects and meet strict deadlines

Work closely with the Art Director to research, create and implement art processes and solutions for final production.

Creative Illustrators
Job Specifications:

Creative and technical skills in Adobe Photoshop and sound knowledge of Adobe Illustrator

Ability to create quality 2D illustrations based on storyboard

Must have good sense of color and strong understanding of design principles.

Drawing, illustration and storyboarding skills

Our Hiring Process
Because we believe that every person joining Caraou Digital needs to have the right attitude and skill set, our hiring process is stringent and a little lengthy. However, if you do make it through, the benefits are significant.
Below is the outline of how our hiring system works.
1. Application

We do not accept incomplete applications. A complete application is when you have submitted the updated CV with cover letter on why you are interested in working with us. Application has to be sent to HireMe@caraou.com

Once we have assessed your application, we will give you a call for a phone interview provided you make it through this stage.
2. Phone Interview
-
Phone interviews are a way to put a voice to the emails that we have received so far.
-
We will ask you basic questions about your career outlook and how you think joining us will help you achieve those objectives.

You then proceed to one-on-one interviews provided you make it through this stage.
3. One-on-One Interview
-
This is a more formal discussion about what your expectations are from the role.
-
We will also set out our expectations from this position.
-
In most cases, we will move to a trial from this stage.
4. Trials
-
Trials at Caraou Digital last for 5 days where you will get to work on our live projects.
-
The objective of trial is for you to understand our work environment and see if our culture is a fit to you.
-
It is also a chance for us to see how you work in a team and if you are a cultural fit with Caraou Digital.
5. Decision Day
-
The decision about whether you will continue to work with us is usually done on the last day of trials.

This is when we have final discussions on salary negotiations and when can you join us at the latest.
